The newly-renovated Adelphi Lads Club and ShinDigger has unveiled its August schedule with a series of FREE beer parties across the month.

The historic venue, located on Cannon Street in Salford, reopened back in June after standing derelict and neglected for over a decade.

So to mark its first summer back appropriately, Adelphi Lads Club has teamed up with local brewery ShinDigger to host the epic Shingri-La Festival.

The festival will see the venue be transformed into a free beer party every weekend in August, where it will play home to a range of local food vendors and DJs.

The residency kicks off this weekend on Saturday August 6th with an event curated by Salford DJ Jenna G. Throughout the day, local artists including Aletha, Lena C, and Mystique will take to the stage for a day-long party in the venue’s newly renovated terrace.

The following week on Saturday August 13th, Steam Radio will take to the decks alongside Nabihah Iqbal and Salary Boy.

The line-up continues the week after on Saturday August 20th with iconic performers such as Mafalda, Alexander Nut and Leon Riley, with even more names set to be announced in the coming weeks.

Dr. Banana will then host a legendary set to conclude the festival on Sunday August 28th.

And on the drinks front, ShinDigger will be on hand with a wide selection of its IPAs and lagers, as well as its beloved summer range.

ShinDigger was founded in 2013 by students Paul and George, who started selling their home-brew at house parties.

The business, launched with a small £10k government grant for young entrepreneurs, has gone from strength to strength throughout the last nine years, and has released over forty different beers, all of which have proven to be a huge hit among Mancunians.

And to soak up the booze will be a selection of freshly baked pizzas from local pizzeria Talk to Me Pizza. Wing Tings will also be serving up their signature style chicken wings and chicken tender sandwiches, the perfect pairing with ShinDigger’s IPA.

The Shingri-La Festival events are completely free to attend, though bookings are recommended to avoid disappointment.
