Fans of Alice in Wonderland and gin are in for a treat, as the Mad Hatter’s Gin & Tea Party is coming to Manchester.

Head down the rabbit hole and into the ultimate immersive wonderland, which has won rave reviews in its previous showings in LA, NYC and London.

The theatrical 1.5 hour-long cocktail experience includes a magical ‘drink me’ potion as you arrive, as well as two tantalising cocktails and one of the Mad Hatter’s curious hats for you to wear during the experience.

The event description reads: “Step through an unassuming door in Manchester City Centre and prepare to be led into a very strange hat shop, indeed… This trip down the rabbit hole into an immersive wonderland has already won rave reviews for its recent tea parties in London, LA and New York.

“Your hosts for the evening, The Mad Hatter and his even madder guests, invite you to delight and bewitch the senses as you enjoy a 90-minute psychedelic cocktail menu. Tantalising cocktails await you, each carefully constructed from curious ingredients that’ll befuddle your taste buds. Don’t be late for this very important date or it’ll be ‘off with your head’!”

It’s held in a ‘whimsical secret Wonderland garden in Manchester’, aka The Loft over on Quay Street in the city centre.

Because of the booze you have to be over 18 to get involved, and the dress code is casual – although Alice in Wonderland costumes are very welcome.

There are multiple dates happening, with Friday April 10th the next available – head over to the ticket site here to get involved.
