If you’re stuck for something to do today, then Chester Zoo has got just the thing – a live tour of some of its most popular animals.

It started at 10am this morning, when the zoo began livestreaming from its Facebook page.

It kicked off with the red pandas, followed by the giraffes, elephants and butterflies – the Sun bears are on right now (14.00pm) if you want to check them out below.

Then at 14.30pm you’ll be able to get a live tour of the zoo’s Sumatran tigers, followed by the Humboldt penguins at 15.00pm.

After that they’ll be heading to the aquarium for 16.00pm.

Chester Zoo wrote on Facebook: “As you can’t come to the zoo right now, we’ll bring the zoo to you!

“Join us LIVE on our Facebook page from 10am when we’ll be throwing open our ‘virtual gates.’

“So, break up the boredom of being at home and, for the first time ever, enjoy a whole day of animal antics, live from your sofa!”

If you want to get involved, then head over to their Facebook here – be aware that the timings may be subject to change, and there’s additional surprises promised throughout the day.
