DieCast

Manchester’s newest and biggest food and drinks destination DieCast has given an official launch date for next month.

After two years in the making, the hugely anticipated 250,000 sq ft former factory turned huge food and drink destination, will open its doors to the public in July.

Brought to you by the creatives behind Detroit-style pizza and live music venue Ramona, DieCast will kick-off its opening with a series of summer parties with the Leno Ex Machina concept from Thursday 6th – Saturday 8th July.

DieCast

Set in a disused factory warehouse behind Piccadilly Station, between Ducie Street and Store Street, full of industrial charm and reminders of Manchester’s history, the project will be one of the city’s biggest hospitality ventures to date.

The upcoming opening weekender is inviting its first guests to celebrate and experience what it has to offer with free entry tickets. Each ticket includes free entry for four guests and a free daiquiri for your group upon arrival.

Sessions begin at 8.30pm for the three launch parties on Thursday 6th, Friday 7th and Saturday 8th July.

The new concept will feature a different type of pizza from the Detroit-style you’ll find at Ramona and instead it will offer NYC and Neoploitan versions, creating a lighter yet stronger Leno Pizza Machina — able to hold more toppings on its crispy and sturdy base.

The Rum Ex Machina concept will feature Rum Caravans and House of Daiquiri will specialise in frozen daiquiris, with 64 variations available, including classic citrus creations, as well as never seen before flavours, poured from the 20 frozen daiquiri machines dominating the central bar and stage.

The huge venue will host a number of festival stages, stairways and platforms for huge immersive parties, as well as a massive beer garden.

Owner and Director at Ramona, Dan Mullen, said: “We’ve been dreaming, planning and preparing this project for years.

“We’ve done bars, restaurants, clubs and festivals before, but this is something different. It’s hard to describe because it’s multiple experiences under one roof.

“But no, it’s not a food hall. Manchester has plenty of those. This is an immersive food, drink and clubbing experience on an industrial scale.”
