The legendary Haçienda has unveiled plans for a huge party to celebrate its fortieth birthday later this year.
Founded by Factory Records and New Order, The Haçienda is widely recognised as the
birthplace of Acid House, and has been credited for shaping the face of UK club scene.
So to mark four decades of decadence and delight this November, FAC51 The Haçienda has announced its biggest and most extensive club event to date as it gears up to take over Depot Mayfield.
The party will bring together a colossal line up of artists, including Hacidena legends Orbital and Happy Mondays as the headliners.

And new to the Hacienda will be Inner City and 808 State, who will play live with House Music
Orchestra and Ce Ce Roger.
Also on the line up are American DJs pioneers Kerri Chandler, David Morales, Todd Terry, Marshall Jefferson and, making their Hacienda debut, Grandmaster Flash.
And it wouldn’t be FAC51 without an appearance from the residents and regular DJs who gave the original Hacienda club night its reputation over the years.
Confirmed to be returning to the place that kick started their careers is Graeme Park, Greg Wilson, DJ Pierre, Jon Dasilva, A Guy Called Gerald, Tom Wainwright, DJ Paulette, Justin Robertson, Allister Whitehead, Mark XTC and Russ & Chad Jackson.

Like previous Haçienda events, the fortieth anniversary party will be taking over four rooms in Depot Mayfield, the certified home of Manchester’s iconic club night Warehouse Project.
This is the biggest line up the Haçienda has ever unveiled and, going by the success of its former events at the Depot, demand for tickets is expected to be high.
FAC51 The Haçienda will take place at Depot Mayfield on Saturday November 12th. Exclusive pre-sale tickets for Proper Manchester readers go on sale TODAY at 10am, while general tickets go on sale tomorrow, Friday July 29th, at 10am.
