Children can visit Knowsley Safari Park completely FREE of charge from now until the end of February.
That’s great news for families looking for something to do with the kids, as February half term is just around the corner.
Parents and guardians will be pleased to know a day out with the little ones won’t be too costly as kids can experience the wildlife attraction for free until February 29th.
The star of the Channel 4 ‘Secret Life of the Safari Park’ docuseries, Pete Johnson, who is Deputy Team Manager of the Carnivores at the park, is inviting guests to experience the lions, buffalo and baboons as well as all the hundreds of other wildlife that live at the park.
Pete started out as an intern on a work placement at Knowsley Safari back in 2010 while he was studying for his degree. In 2014 he was offered a permanent position and has stayed there ever since.
You can catch him in all six episodes of the new prime time Channel 4 docuseries, Secret Life of the Safari Park, which airs every Thursday at 8pm.
For anyone who’s heading to the park, there’s a Knowsley Safari walk and drive for those who wish to see the animals as they go about their lives in their natural habitats.
For those who are worried about their car being damaged, there’s also a special safari bus covered in ropes and ladders for visitors to ride instead.
Rachel Scott, head of marketing at Knowsley Safari, said: “Secret Life of the Safari Park has given people behind-the-scenes access to the Safari that’s never been shown before.
“Now is a great time for viewers to come and experience in real life the wild adventures they’ve seen on TV – and the Kids Go Free offer makes it a little easier for families to bring the magic alive from now, during half term and right through to the end of February.”
