Fans of Netflix’s Squid Game will be able to fully immerse themselves in the eerie Red Light Green Light game at the Trafford Centre this weekend.
Yep, the sinister animatronic doll from the dystopian South Korean series – which is now the most watched in Netflix’s history – is currently on a tour of the UK, with it first surprising shoppers in London’s Westfield Shopping Centre in Shepherd’s Bush on Sunday, October 31st.
As part of an interactive experience, fans were able to ‘meet’ the fully functioning three-metre-tall doll, complete with moving light-up eyes and a creepy sing-song voice.

Fans were able to take photos and videos of the doll, as well as interact with the formidable masked guards from the show, who were handing out the iconic Squid Game number cards and complimentary Dalgona honeycomb cookies.
And now, much to the delight of Manchester Squid Game fans, the doll will be arriving at The Trafford Centre this weekend on Saturday, 6th November.
Here, shoppers will be able to interact with the doll, take photos and videos, and receive Squid Game memorabilia and tokens from the armed guards (don’t worry, actual death isn’t guaranteed).
In the third episode of the series, contestants are tasked with cutting shapes out of Dalgona candy, a South Korean biscuit made from honeycomb. If they failed to do it within ten minutes, they were eliminated (shot dead, basically).
The Squid Game doll will be in The Trafford Centre on Saturday, November 6th, between 9am-6pm. Visit the Trafford Centre website for more information.
