In the latest addition to Manchester’s already tremendous sports bar scene, the world’s first immersive cricket bar will be opening a venue in our city this weekend.
Following the success of its existing London venues in Fulham and Fitzrovia, SIXES Cricket Club will be welcoming Northern cricket fans and drinkers and diners alike this Sunday, August 29th, where for the first time, they’ll be able to enjoy a cheeky game of cricket in a bar and restaurant setting.
The new establishment will boast a number of cricket nets available to hire out, as well as a bespoke dining and drinking area.

On the cricket side of things, guests will have their batting skills put to the test with the BatFast Cricket Simulator – here, scores will be logged on a global leaderboard, making for the perfect evening of fun competition with friends and family.
There will also be a full food menu serving twists on classic grub such as the Low and Slow Beef Topside Mini Buns and the Overnight Smoked Whiskey Glazed Shortrib in Bourbon BBQ.
Guests can also expect the best of British meats, seafood and vegetables, flamed, roasted and grilled on the robata grill – the perfect fuel for families, hens, stags and corporate groups, alike. And joining the food will be a selection of craft beers, fine wines and unique SIXES crafted cocktails, as well as an elusive champagne bar for those wanting a more sophisticated night out away from the nets.
Remote workers and freelancers will also be able to enjoy a tempting membership package too, which allows people to work from the bar and unwind with a lunch break batting session, with family deals also available.

“The opening of a Clubhouse in Manchester – a vibrant city famous for its love of sport – is the perfect next step, and we can’t wait for the people of Manchester to experience Sixes, explore our delicious menu, cocktails and Champagne Bar.
“Cricket has a rare, unifying quality, capable of connecting people from all backgrounds. SIXES is no different. We’re combining our love of sport with a passion for quality food and drink, creating a welcoming and relaxed experience where anyone can enjoy the game we love.”
