After two bleak years with no Paddy’s Day celebrations, one of Manchester’s most iconic Irish venues has unveiled plans for a huge two-week long Irish festival.
O’Shea’s will be ending its two-year celebratory drought and welcoming in St. Patrick’s Day in style with music, dancing, cocktails, good food and, of course, plenty of pints of Guinness.
As well as welcoming guests back up onto its legendary rooftop beer garden, it will also be launching its brand new indoor venue, which has been beautifully re-designed and draped in the colours of the Emerald Isle.

O’Shea’s will also be debuting its new food menu courtesy of the tasty Eat New York team, featuring an Irish-American twist with free flowing cocktails such as espresso and passionfruit martinis.
A variety of live music is on the bill for the festival, including a fixture of bands and local performers such as Green Hot Clover, The Joe Keegan Band, Live Lounge, Culainn, Nicky Mc Callan, Quare Craic, Harry James and the Irish Ramblers, Mollys, Chambers featuring Richard Sanderson on fiddle, The Last Drop.

O’Shea’s has held a prominent legacy in the city since it opened back in 1994, and has built a reputation for pouring some of the best Guinness outside of Ireland.
The new site at Piccadilly is bound to encapsulate even more of the true Irish tradition of downing pints of delicious stout, gobby, guitar-led live music and loads of laughs.
