Proud owners of sausage dogs get ready as a pop-up dachshund party is returning to Greater Manchester.
Owners and fans of the adorable little four-legged friends can come along to the one-day event where 150 dogs can have the time of their lives.
Party Like A Dachshund is coming to Westhoughton Dog Park, in Bolton, on Saturday, March 9th from 9am – 3pm.
Pups can get to meet other sausages, where they will enjoy 60 minutes off-lead time at the outdoor dog park as well as unlimited puppuccinos and doggy treats.
There will be plenty of photo opportunities to capture your little loves living life to the full and making memories, as well as a variety of props, tunnels, toys, ball pools and other fun equipment to keep your sausages entertained.
There’s also prizes to be won for the best dressed dachshund and plenty of stalls where you can purchase all sorts of cute doggy stuff.
The pop-up is a family friendly event for which only your doggo requires a ticket. ‘Hoomans’ go FREE, including one car.
You will have the chance to meet up with other dog owners and sausage fans where you can become part of the community while watching your beloved fur ball having fun.
A selection of snacks and soft drinks will be available to purchase, so bring your other half or the kids to this event that welcomes the whole family.
The pop-up is organised by Pawesome Parties who is raising money for the DMT Dog Rescue Charity, which helps rescue dachshunds from the dog meat trade and bring them to loving homes.
All friendly dogs are welcome but there are some doggy do’s and dont’s:
Do bring friendly and socialised dogs
Do feel free to let your Dog off lead but..
Do keep a close watch over your dog
Don’t leave dog poo behind – bag it and put it in the bin
Don’t bring aggressive dogs to the event
Don’t bring dogs in season
Would you like to see your dog socialise with other sausages, meet like minded owners and watch as your dogs play in a secure off-lead environment? If so, tickets to Party Like A Dachshund can be purchased, HERE.
Tickets cost £12 per doggo and owners are asked to book in advance. The event will take place on Saturday, March 9th with one-hour time slots available throughout the day.
