A new Halloween event in Merseyside takes you along a terrifying woodland trail in the darkness.

Very few details have actually been released about what you can expect on the trail, to ensure you get the biggest jump possible.

What we do know is that the trail will be in complete darkness and you’ll walk along the path for one mile, where ‘anything could happen’.

Organisers wrote a message to those thinking about booking: “It will be dark, it will be scary”, with the event being described as “not for the faint-hearted !!!”

Each group of people will take to the path together but will not interact with any other parties to ensure the Halloween event is Covid-safe.

The event is taking place in Go Outside, Shorrocks Hill on Lifeboat Road in Formby on October 30th and 31st, to get you right in the mood for the spookiest night of the year.

You can book hour long slots from 7pm on Friday and 6pm on Saturday. Or if you think you can handle it you can experience it at midnight.

Head over to the Go Outside Facebook for more info and to keep an eye out for updates.
